About Tunç Berkman
Tunç Berkman is a versatile professional with a diverse background. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Syracuse University in 1995 and later earned an MBA from Babson College in 1998. His career began at Deloitte & Touche in Istanbul as an assistant auditor. During his MBA studies in Boston, he interned at State Street Bank and Monitor Company. After completing his MBA, he worked as a consultant at Monitor Company’s New York office, focusing on telecommunications, retail, and e-commerce projects.
About Tunç Berkman
Tunç Berkman is a versatile professional with a diverse background. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Syracuse University in 1995 and later earned an MBA from Babson College in 1998. His career began at Deloitte & Touche in Istanbul as an assistant auditor. During his MBA studies in Boston, he interned at State Street Bank and Monitor Company. After completing his MBA, he worked as a consultant at Monitor Company’s New York office, focusing on telecommunications, retail, and e-commerce projects.
In 2000, he returned to Turkey and started working as a Business Development and Strategy Manager.
From 2000 to 2013, he held various senior management positions related to business development, strategy development, marketing, branding, and procurement at Koç Holding, Arçelik, Avea, and People Communication.
His first entrepreneurial experience was in 2010 when he became a partner in Chado Tea. In 2011, he co-founded Mobilexpress with his partners.
He became CMO of Vestel in 2013. After leaving Vestel, in December 2019, he invested in a venture focused on a shared office business model called WorkCompany. Through TBS Investment and Management Company, he took on responsibilities as an independent consultant at Divera AI, a company based on artificial intelligence marketing, as well as a board advisor at D-tag Analytics and the British firm Bolt Insight.
Recently, he has become an investor in startups he has been advising, including Teleporter, Triber Shop, Zack AI, Hadsup, FormaStar, Media Analyzer, DT Cloud, and Sanamekan. He currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Zack AI, Board Member of Lidio Financial Payment Systems, Board Advisor of Sodec Technologies, Brand Consultant of DT Cloud, and Board Advisor of Serdar Plastik.
